Nestled in the misty mountains of northern Vietnam, Sapa is a captivating destination renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and warm local hospitality. While May and June may not be the optimal months to visit Sapa due to the rainy season, it’s always a good idea to plan ahead to ensure a memorable and well-organized trip. By following this itinerary, you can experience the best that Sapa has to offer at the ideal time of year.

NIGHT 1: DEPARTING FROM HANOI TO SAPA ON A SLEEPING BUS

22h00 – 23h00: Our bus will pick you up from your hotel for the journey to Sapa. After approximately 5 hours on the sleeping bus, we will reach the charming destination of Sapa.

DAY 1: SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE (B)

06h30: The car will transport you to the Sapa Retreat Condotel in the middle of town. Following your arrival, you can enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel’s restaurant and then proceed to check in. After breakfast, you will have free time to explore Sapa town.

14h00: The tour guide and the guests will embark on a scenic walk to explore the H’mong village of Cat Cat. In this village, visitors will have the opportunity to gain insights into the customs and traditions of the ethnic minorities residing in the area. Moreover, they will have the chance to visit significant village landmarks, including the mesmerizing Cat Cat waterfall and a historic hydroelectric power plant constructed by the French during the early twentieth century. Visitors are also welcome to capture memorable souvenir photos throughout their visit.

18h30: Following dinner at the restaurant, you will have the liberty to explore the charming town of Sapa at your own leisure.

DAY 2 : TREKKING 9KM – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN (B / L / D)

07h00 – 08h00: Having breakfast at the Sapa Retreat Condotel’s restaurant.

08h00: Embarking on a trek to Y Linh Ho village and proceed to hike through the stunning rice terraces that adorn the banks of Muong Hoa Stream. Your journey will lead you to the captivating Lao Chai village, home to the Black H’mong minority. Along this route, you’ll be treated to the awe-inspiring beauty of the Hoang Lien Son mountain ranges, creating a truly spectacular and memorable experience.

12h30: Having lunch at Ta Van village then checking in and resting.

Afternoon: Your tour guide will accompany you on a visit to the villages of the local people, where you’ll encounter terraced fields and meandering streams that characterize the landscape.

16h00: Upon returning to the homestay, you can relax and unwind. Subsequently, guests have the delightful opportunity to partake in a cooking class with the locals, where they can learn the art of preparing traditional and authentic Vietnamese dishes.

18h30:  Savoring a dinner featuring dishes you have skillfully prepared during the cooking class. Overnight at the homestay in Ta Van village.

Day 3: Exploring Ta Van Village and Muong Hoa Valley
Today, venture further into the stunning countryside and visit the Ta Van Village, inhabited by the Dao ethnic group. Engage with the locals, learn about their customs, and appreciate their distinctive clothing and handicrafts – trek through the picturesque Muong Hoa Valley, adorned with terraced rice fields and scenic landscapes. Indulge in a picnic lunch amidst nature, soaking up the tranquility and beauty surrounding you.

DAY 3: TREKKING 6 KM TA VAN – GIANG TA CHAI VILLAGE – SUPAN- SAPA- HANOI ( B / L )

07h00 – 08h00: Having breakfast at the homestay .

On the morning of the second day, our journey will take us to visit Giang Ta Chai and Supan, two delightful Red Dao villages. Giang Ta Chai has gained a reputation as a popular destination for travelers interested in experiencing the vibrant traditions and customs of the region. To reach these villages, we will need to walk approximately 8 kilometers.

12h00: Enjoying lunch then resting at the homestay.

14h00: The car will pick you up back to Sapa.

15h30: Getting on the bus back to Hanoi.

22h00: Upon arriving in Hanoi, the trip ends.
